Neighborhood Allies stepped into 2021 with renewed optimism and purpose. This is due, in part, to recent successes that demonstrate not only the efficacy of our work, but the regional receptivity to our mission and vision.Â

Welcomed 7 new, talented, and diverse staff members to our team
Invested 84% of our total expenses directly into neighborhoods
Grew and diversified our sources of funding including:

Granted $1 million directly into neighborhoods through:
- RISE HIGH Grant Partnership Awards $500,000
- Economic Opportunity to FECs $215,000
- Centralized Real Estate Accelerator $118,000
Began implementation of our 3-Year Roadmap that reflects our best thinking about the potential and role our organization plays in transforming Pittsburgh’s communities into places of opportunity. We continue to make meaningful strides towards creating a stronger and more connected, empowered, and equitable community development system
Recrafted our Mission and Vision Statements as well as our messaging overall to better reflect our organizational values and role and more effectively reach those we currently serve and wish to serve
Launched a new and improved website that offers users direct access to our suite of services and resources that have been created to expand opportunity and co-power residents to revitalize their communities.
